Mission Statement
....................................

Mission Lazarus is a holistic ministry that focuses on basic primary education, skill development, health education and treatment, agricultural development, and preaching and teaching the Word of God.

Grace to Action / Titus 2:11-14

"For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds."

As a ministry, Mission Lazarus believes actions based on faith are an effective and powerful way to share the message of Christ. Christians are called to serve through actions in James 2:14-18 as a showing of a living faith.

"What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed, but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do."

As a ministry, Mission Lazarus believes that love demands action. John 13:34-35 states,

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

As a ministry, Mission Lazarus is a holistic, faith-in-action organization that strives to find and meet physical and spiritual needs. Many different humanitarian projects form the core of Mission Lazarus and serve to validate the faith which is professed in its evangelistic efforts. I Peter 3:12

"Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us."
