Total Budget for Ten Weeks  $ 3,318.00

  1. One-time expenses are those which the intern spends BEFORE the internship begins, such as passport, immunizations, airfare, and international insurance as required by Mission Lazarus
    (see MedJet Assistance attachment)

  2. Passport processing often takes six weeks or longer and is required for international travel

  3. Immunizations should begin at least three months prior to arrival date

  4. Airfare is purchased by the intern with either American or Continental Airlines. Airfare varies.

  5. The “Honduras Exit Tax” is money reserved for exiting the country; the intern keeps this money through the internship for his departure

  6. Red lines indicate money that is to be sent directly to Mission Lazarus

  7. 50% of the total amount ($900 of $1,800) is required as a non-refundable deposit April 1, 2008

  8. The remaining balance ($900) can be paid in advance of arrival or upon arrival

  9. ******Intern is responsibe for marking “Tourism” on immigration papers.

  10. All donations paid directly to Mission Lazarus become monies of Mission Lazarus. Any donations above the amount needed by the intern become donations to Mission Lazarus projects
