SPIRITUAL MINISTRY

SPIRITUAL    EDUCATIONAL    MEDICAL    AGRICULTURAL    MISSION LAZARUS REFUGE

With a focus on the poor, rural areas in Latin America, Mission Lazarus works daily with local preachers and church leaders to augment growth in their existing congregations as well as to collaborate in plans for church-planting. If a preacher will plan an outreach, organize it, and see it through, Mission Lazarus will work to form a collaborative relationship with the preacher to help acquire needed resources for the planned outreach.

Mission Lazarus also helps provide Bibles, song books, study materials, and other resources that are difficult for local congregations to obtain.  Along with printed material Mission Lazarus helps coordinate gospel campaigns with local congregations.

When Mission Lazarus founder, Jarrod Brown, moved to Honduras in 2001 his efforts were dedicated to three preachers and their congregations. Today, Mission Lazarus is working with more than 15 churches and or church plant projects.

Mission Lazarus employees travel weekly to different congregations to assist in preaching and teaching.  North American missionaries and visiting volunteers play a big role in evangelizing and encouraging while always being conscientious of the local church leadership and their roles.

Mission Lazarus does not visit churches or congregations unless they are invited.  Mission Lazarus' purpose is to empower to local church leadership to grow their own churches.
