HOW CAN YOU HELP? By sponsoring a child at the Mission Lazarus Refuge. Sponsorship is a great blessing for both the children of Mission Lazarus and for you, and there is a huge need. On average, in the region of Choluteca alone, 30 children a month are either abandoned, orphaned or removed from their homes by the Honduran government. Here is your chance to help. For just $250 a month, you can feed and nurture a child in need, providing them with an education, healthcare, and clothing, a warm and safe place to sleep, and show them a love that they will learn to impart on others. WILL YOU HELP US HELP THEM? Sponsoring a child is an awesome responsibility not to be entered into lightly, without prayer and thought. Children may be sponsored by individuals, families, groups, classes or congregations. You can also partially support a child for as little as $50 a month. We will group you with others to provide the full support that the child needs. As a sponsor, you will receive bi-annual reports and photos of your child, witnessing his or her progress.
