Our team members based in Franklin, Tennessee focus on general operations, marketing, relationship management with our donors and board members and focus on running the Mission Lazarus Social Enterprise.

Operations Team

From running our office backend to construction, security, and running the Posada San Lazaro, the operations works together so that Mission Lazarus can continue to run well.

Education Team

This team focuses on the educational components of our mission.  They work at our Early Childhood Development Centers, with the Children in the Refuge, or the vocational schools (featured in the social enterprise team as well).

Our agricultural team focuses on the operations of the Mission Lazarus ranch where food is produced for the use of Posada San Lazaro (our Bed & Breakfast), the Refuge, or to sell to the community.  We also have a coffee farm where we produce the coffee for San Lazaro Estate Coffee.

Medical Team

Our medical team manages two health clinics in the area of San Marcos, and visits surrounding communities when doctors from the United States come to participate during medical brigades.

Spiritual Team

The Spiritual team is composed of the pastors of the surrounding communities.  Since the time Mission Lazarus started more than 20 churches have been started and continue pursuing God.

Social Enterprise Team

Our social enterprise team focuses on running our coffee farm for San Lazaro Estate Coffee, making high quality handmade leather goods at our vocational school or making beautiful furniture at our carpentry school.

The proceeds of our San Lazaro Estate Coffee sales fund the Refuge and our Leather Product sales fund the leather and furniture vocational schools.

Our team in Haiti focuses on the Haiti Refuge and the operations of the new Learning Center, as well as logistics and operations for teams that travel with us to volunteer.
