The Mission Lazarus social enterprise program exists to empower local Hondurans, who would otherwise not have the opportunity, to learn artisan skills and sustainable business development training in efforts to advance their overall education.
The first Mission Lazarus vocational schools opened in 2002 offering carpentry and sewing free of charge to communities being served by local churches. Since that time our program has grown. There are now two vocational sewing schools as well as a leather working school, a boot making school, and a carpentry school.
