Message from the Head of School
Saludos cordiales a todos! Last we finished another busy week, full of fun learning activities that, without a doubt, our students will never forget. Today God allows us to start a new week of challenges, lessons, and fun, for which we are grateful. Our desire is always that God reigns in your hearts and homes and that our students come to school ready to learn more every day and practice new skills. The time that you share with your children at home is always a good investment and we see the evidence of that here at school. Keep up the good work!
Lazarus Academy values highly the benefits of a bilingual education and desire that each of our students acquire a love for English as a second language. We provide many opportunities for your student to study and practice English in hopes that the student will fall in love with the language and continue his interest and language practice both in and outside of school. As you are aware, last Thursday and Friday we held our first English Spelling Bee Contest.
Our teachers dedicated several weeks to the organization of this event, and both our primary and secondary students participated. We are aware that our amazing students made every effort to practice the word lists that their teachers provided. We want to thank you, parents, for the wonderful support you provided your children at home, because without that support, no activity in our school would be possible. We give our Congratulations to all the brave participants and their families at home. Everyone was amazing!
Congratulations to Santiago, Sofia, and Aaron, who took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in our Category 1 Contest.
Congratulations to Genesis, Santiago, and Jhaniel who took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in our Category 2 Contest.
Congratulations to Milagro, Juan, and Celenia who took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in our Secondary Level Contest.
Please do not hesitate to come by the school to see us or give us a call if you have any concerns or ideas to share with us. Have a great week!
