We have built and currently operate two private bilingual K-12 schools with a focus on academic excellence and Christian character. We have developed three education pathways with plentiful support that allows every student to equip himself with the skills he needs to be a remarkable and responsible citizen in his community. All our graduates are prepared to enter the workforce or enroll in a university. Most importantly, our graduates know that God has a purpose for their lives and that they have something unique to share with the world for His glory.
Our vocational program is an extraordinary opportunity for students with technical aptitudes to develop their skills for regional industries in high demand. This program is offered for concurrent study during the seventh, eighth, and ninth grade academic years. After three years of apprenticeship, the students graduate with a vocational degree. While some students begin working as soon as they have completed their apprenticeship, others continue academic study through twelfth grade.
We offer scholarships to attend Lazarus Academy, the vocational program, or a local university. These scholarships are awarded on a case by case basis to students of outstanding character, financial need, and academic merit. More than half of our students receive some form of financial aid.
We do not overlook the needs of our own leadership team to further develop their faith, qualifications, boundaries, and relationships, nor do we overlook the expertise found among so many of our donors and supporters.
We plan two major retreats each year, with many of our supporters as guest speakers, to encourage and share experience with our leadership team. It is a time of worship as well as development for a great number of our staff. These special times of the year challenge and increase our capacity to handle ministry and business concerns in a way that brings glory to God.
