Spiritual Development
We take a Kingdom approach to our Spiritual Development Initiative in both Honduras and Haiti. Spiritual Development, or the process of helping people grow deeper in their faith, encompasses everything that we do. It is the reason why our three areas of focus, Education, Healthcare, and Economic Development exist. It is through these initiatives that we’re able to build relationships. We believe that it is only through a relationship that there is an appropriate place for discussing topics of faith.
Our focus is on discipleship, not conversion. Through the relationships that we build we are able to study the Bible closely with the people we serve. It is through this study that the Holy Spirit touches lives and convicts hearts. It’s a natural process that is far more effective than sitting down to only focus on what someone is doing wrong.
Our goal is a transformed heart, not a changing of worship locations. It is through a transformed heart, inside of a community, that lasting transformation takes place from the inside out.
